Vision 2026

At Bethesda, we’re stepping into the coming months with clarity, purpose, and a deep dependence on Christ. Vision 2026 is our shared commitment to look to Christ and take intentional steps together as we gather, grow, give, and go. These goals are not about numbers for their own sake, but about people—real lives reached, discipled, and sent out for the glory of God.

Below you’ll find our four key goals and a simple way to see how we’re progressing. As you pray, serve, invite, and give, you are part of what God is doing here.

GATHER

John 10:14–18

We believe every Sunday is an opportunity for people to encounter the Gospel and find a church family. Gathering is more than filling seats; it’s welcoming people into the care of the Good Shepherd.

Goal: 100 first-time visitors (families) by the end of 2026.

How You Can Help:
Invite neighbors, co-workers, classmates, and friends.
Watch for new faces on Sundays and take the first step to say hello.
Pray that those who visit will clearly hear the Gospel and be drawn to Christ.

GROW

Acts 2:42–47

The early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. We want that same kind of shared life together. LifeGroups are one of the primary ways we grow in Christ and in community.

Goal: 80% of adult members connected to a LifeGroup.

How You Can Help:
If you’re not in a LifeGroup yet, take the next step and try one.
If you’re already in a group, look for someone you can personally invite.
Pray that our groups will be places of real discipleship and care.

GIVE

2 Corinthians 9:1–8

God calls His people to cheerful, generous giving. Every gift is a way of saying, “Lord, we trust You.” Our desire is not just to meet a budget, but to fuel gospel ministry here and around the world.

Goal: 10% increase in the number of gifts given.

How You Can Help:
Ask the Lord how He would have you give faithfully and regularly.
Consider taking a step from occasional giving to consistent giving.
Pray that our generosity would reflect the grace we’ve received in Christ.

GO

Matthew 28:16–20

Jesus sends His church to make disciples of all nations. Going looks like sharing Christ with neighbors, serving our community, and supporting missions near and far. One of the clearest signs of new life in Christ is baptism.

Goal: 40 baptisms by the end of 2026.

How You Can Help:
If you’ve trusted Christ but never been baptized, take that step.
Pray for boldness to share the Gospel where God has placed you.
Celebrate every baptism as God’s work among us.
