We strive to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, fun, fellowship, and service.  We also address topics that are unique to this stage of life including leaving a legacy through grandparenting, serving the Lord in retirement, the empty nest, aging, and support for parents whose children have walked away from the Lord.

Providence Assisted Living

We are currently serving at Providence Assisted Living in Smithfield, NC, home to 20 residents. This ministry focuses on sharing Jesus, spending time with residents, and building an ongoing partnership. Visitors of all ages, including children and grandchildren, are welcome to join!

Feel free to drop in and visit the facility anytime. Let the staff  know you are with Bethesda Baptist and would like to spend time with the residents. Ken and Heily Young

Epic 50s&60s Directors

Ken and Heily have been married over thirty-five years and have three grown sons.  Having both lived on the west coast most of their lives, they recently moved to Clayton to be near their grandchildren and are loving life in North Carolina.  They have been involved in a variety of ministries throughout their married life, with a passion to serve Jesus in whatever capacity He calls them.
