We will be voting on four new deacons during both services. These men have been serving faithfully, and we're excited for them to step into this role. Please keep them in your prayers and be ready to cast your vote. Derek Ward: I've been attending Bethesda for about three years with my wife, Hayley, and our two sons. I serve as an Awana T&T leader for 3rd-5th graders and recently participated in the Brazil mission trip, where I helped teach children. I enjoy video games, board games, camping, and backpacking. Joshua Otto: A Virginia Tech graduate (2011), I moved to Clayton in 2019 and have been active at Bethesda since 2020. I work with adults with developmental disabilities and serve with my wife, Cassie, in the College and Career Ministry. We have a daughter, Eleanor, who's almost 3. I enjoy gardening, video games, music, and reading. Alan Yates: My wife, Bethany, and I have been married for 42 years, with four children and four grandchildren. I serve on the security team, help with EPIC events, and assist in teaching a LifeGroup. At my former church, I served in various roles, including deacon and youth leader. I enjoy family time, rodeos, and college football. Mac McComb: Baptized at 13, I’ve been a believer all my life, but about 14 years ago, I surrendered fully to God. I lead the men's breakfast team at Bethesda. I love riding my Harley and driving my old truck, using those opportunities to share the gospel. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 5:8. Please continue praying for these men and our church during this exciting time!
